Very fine cut glass perfume bottle circa 1880 -1900's. Known as the American Brilliant Period. Maker unknown. Upper echelon glass cutting establishment. Absolutely beautiful large hobstars (3) with diamond stars in the centers. The three patterns are in frames, that have Strawberry (fine crosshatch) Crests in between. It has a thumbprint or panel cut neck. Done in a VERY HEAVY brilliant polished hand cut lead crystal. The cutting and pattern has very fine cutting control, and detail. The base has a 24 point star. (no scratches). Faceted stopper is numbered 52. Approx. 3”W x 3.5”H plus the stopper 5.25”H. The bottle (also numbered 52) and stopper are in VERY FINE condition. The only flaws I can see are two areas of tiny chips to the edges of two facets in the stopper. Please see last photo. There may be other tiny scratches commiserate with age. You can see they are hard to spot. Please let me know 2024 what questions you have. It's just stunning. Clean & ready to ship.
