This is a mixed media piece called “Mountain Majesty”. It is both wood burned and acrylic painted on a piece of pine wood that ranges in size from 7x11 inches to 24x36 inches.
This piece was inspired by a variety of photos and personal inspiration. I combined my own photos and some from Pixabay to create this unique scene.

My process to make these pieces is as follows:
Draw on the lines with pencil
Burn in the lines my wood burning tool
Paint in the spaces
Burn the edges of the wood with a torch
Seal the piece with a clear gloss covering
