Vintage Skee Skates From Herold Corporation 2024 of Wisconsin, Rare 1960s Ski Novelty Shoes

Vintage and rare novelty skiing shoes called Skee Skates (not to be confused with the vintage skateboard brand.)

Skee Skates were a mix between a snowshoe and skis. Made from a wooden plank that is a bit larger than a ski boot. They have leather bindings and stainless steel grooves on the bottom. The idea is that they could be used to ski on snow or skate across ice.

These appear to be unused and are in excellent condition. Original box included.

Made by the Herold Company of Milwaukee, WI in the 1960s

makes a 2024 great decor piece for the Up North Cabin.
