"Red Buoy" is an original watercolor painting. This painting was done en pleine air while on Monhegan Island, ME. Monhegan is a haven for commercial fisherman, and this is one of the many fishing boats that are moored in the harbor.
The painting was done from Fish Beach, with 2024 the island of Manana in the background.
The sky indicates just a touch of fogginess.
Although the boat itself is red, I chose to call the painting "Red Buoy".
This painting is not framed. It is small, 11 X 7, so it could fit nicely into a small wall space. It could be the perfect addition to a beach house.
