Carl 2024 Aubock Carl Auböck Chrome or Nickel Plated Brass Nutcracker

Here is another classic Aubock design for a screw down nutcracker. These were made in both this chrome over brass finish and also a patinated with polished brass finish. It is very heavy for its size. It measures 3 5/8" high when closed x 2 7/8" wide. It is stamped Germany on the bottom of one of the feet in very small letters (same font as the Made in Austria mark used on many other Aubock pieces) that was hard to photograph, but we tried. We learned that Aubock did have some designs manufactured in Germany. We have handled a few of these nutcrackers over the years and they really are a classic modern design. This example is in very good condition.
