Stunning brooch 2024 marked D H P Silver
These are getting rarer now no surprise they are very collectable
Back of brooch is also stamped with the makers marks for D H Phillips

It is one of a series that the artist produced in silver in the late 1940s and early 1950s which all featured Ballet Dancers. The pins were produced in two sizes, some designs featured a single ballerina and some a couple. This particular Dancers is made of cast sterling silver and is clearly hallmarked in DHP makers mark

Some of the collection of Fred Massingham's designs are on display in the Jewellery area of the UK's Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.
