Handmade in Australia using only the highest quality materials, these incredibly unique large crystal pink flower Art Deco statement earrings are a truly unique and completely limited ‘one of a kind' edition pair, which contain very old and extremely collectible original vintage Swarovski crystal elements – to the point where most designer's would only use one or two of these in any given piece because of their cost, quality and rarity.
Starting at the top of each earring is a high quality 24K gold plated lever back finding and gold plated setting. Placed on top is an original vintage Swarovski diamante flower filigree filled with black opaque crystals in crown settings. Dangling from this is a cute little peachy pink opal seed bead, which is then followed by an original vintage black textured opaque Czech pressed glass bead that compliments the stamen of the poppy perfectly!
In the middle of each earring is a gold tone filigree with a pink poppy with a black centre placed on top, followed by another cute little peachy pink opal seed bead and then topped off with an incredibly detailed handmade black lampwork bead. This beautiful bead has rose vine swirly floral accents and lustre-dots, and has been finished off with a gold plated filigree bead cap and original vintage pink diamante claw set headpin.
Each lucite flower has been hand painted, shaded and varnished with a special lacquer for longevity. The detail in the painting by Amanda is extremely meticulous. To get that incredible level of detail on each flower is testament to the fact that it was done with a true artist's hand.
The filigree has also been finished with a super pristine matte gold patina to emulate the look of 'Russian gold'. Inspired by the creations of 1930s jewellery designer Miriam Haskell, they have been protected with a special varnish. Originally with about 90 years worth of natural patina, we have gone to great lengths to ensure the very aesthetically pleasing antique-looking finish. This makes them hypoallergenic. They also come from a smoke-free home, and with ready to gift decorative packaging!

Dimensions: The height of each earring is 95.39mm/3.755 inches and the widest part (the middle filigree) is 27.25mm/1.072 inches. The total weight (combined) is 18 grams. They are much *lighter* than they look!
