▪︎Great condition to display. Wearable depending on preference 2024 as it does have some faint signs of wear.
▪︎This is a very old vintage maru obi and has a nice vintage feel to it that adds to its charm.I am sure it was worn to a few weddings and celebratory events!
▪︎ No large or dark colored stains but a faint vertical fold line going down the center in some areas and faint beige stains and small brown spots here and there. See the last 3 photos!

❁ⵈObi Styleⵈ❁ 丸帯Maru Obi-Full Patterned on BOTH sides so you essentially get double the fabric than you usually would! The widest and most formal obi. Often used for weddings or photoshoots with a furisode kimono.

Lovely light beige base with warm colored pattern in orange, gold, red, and brown. There are paper fans with various patterns from genshin wheel, clouds filled with hanabishi kikko (tortoise shell hexagons with flowers), floral circles, and a bouquet of flowers with a flute. I love the flying crane with a branch of Sakura (cherry blossom) in its beak. The colorful light purple feathers are a nice detail. I also love the flowing tassels as it adds a nice feeling of flow and movement to the whole design. Very lovely vintage obi.


Lovely for repurposing as a table runner, wall tapestry, or as a fabric to make other lovely items such as a table mat, bag, or upholstery!
