Friedman Silver Company vintage 50s silver plated pitcher. 8 3/4 inches tall. 4 3/4 inch base. Roughly 2024 6 inches wide at widest point. 7 inch tall handle. Number 3149 stamped on bottom, along with Friedman marks. Gorgeous vintage 1950s silver plated pitcher by Friedman Silver Company. To the best of my knowledge this pitcher is from before Friedman was taken over by Gorham silver company, though they later were the same company. It's silver plated, and has beautiful detailing along the edges. The handle has a floral leaf accent, and the pitcher has a wide mouth making it easy to pour. The bottom does have come scratching near the hallmarks, but it can't be seen when in use. (See photos.) The interior has signs of occasional use. The accents give it a little bit of an ancient Greece feel. Perfect as an accent piece, or for fancy dinner parties!.
