Seraphim (archival fine 2024 art print)

2024 This is an archival print of my watercolor painting, Seraphim.

Painted in 2021, Seraphim is an account of the book of Isaiah, chapter 6. Isaiah 6 is a spectacular account of the throne room of God, as He is surrounded by the seraphim, six-winged and flying about Him. In this work on paper, I attempt to describe the intense wind caused by the beating of the angels' wings with effulgent light breaking in between the spaces of their movements. I imagine this space as cool, fresh and with a brightness that cannot be described. I would love to see this image become a stained glass window someday.
