Description:
A kitten designed by Ake Thornblad and made by Hoganas Keramik, Sweden. This was part of a group which included a mother cat (I also have this piece listed) and 2 kittens in different poses. The darker glaze colours have been applied in the detail of the piece so the stripes and features of the cat are accentuated.
Ake Thornblad (1929-2015) was an artist and sculptor born in Hoganas, Sweden.

I believe this piece was produced in the 1980's.
Size:
Measures 5 1/2" (14 cm) tall to the tip of the tail and is approximately 5" (12.75 cm) long.
Condition:
Item is in excellent undamaged condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or restoration. The feet are not completely flat 2024 so the piece has a minor wobble when stood on a flat surface but is completely secure!
