London lll
The original London Print was based on artworks which could not be easily updated.
I decided to produce a similar image based on the same concept of placement of the principle buildings, but this time to do it as a painting on canvas, which 2024 meant that it could be easily updated in the future, if required.
London lll is the updated version of the acrylic painting which I did to replace the original London print.
Every time I go back to update a painting it is an opportunity to improve the image as to colour, sharpness of line or improved depth by way of additional shading. Also content can be changed or added to by painting over the existing buildings or landscape.
London lll is wonderfully rich in colour with good content strength and balace across the whole print.
It currently comes in the one size of 70x100cms.
