Its origin is from the Dominican republic. The Dominican Republic is the only place in the world, that this stone is found. The mine for the stone is running low, so it is becoming more and more rare as time goes by. It is a precious gem. This stone is wire wrapped in 925 sterling silver wire, with Argentium Fancy Gallery silver wire and titanium steel wire. I used two 20 gauge base wires to frame both stones very nicely and the weaving is done with 28 gauge sterling silver wire. This piece is that of a goddess pendant. Even the back of this is nice, and smoothly beautiful.
