Vintage 1950s House of 2024 Youth wool suit/new look winter suit/size XS/S

Fabulous 1950s New Look Grey Wool suit by House of Youth.

Jacket has a blousy fit with a large collar, three quarter sleeves and a 2024 belt that cross over at the front. Large buttons and a small peplum. Skirt is midi length, straight with a kick pleat at the back. Lined.

It fits like a modern size Extra Small to Small.

Measurements taken with the garments lying flat and doubled where appropriate are:

Jacket:

Bust: 37"
Waist: 27"
Length: 21"


Skirt:

Waist: 25", possibly 26" by moving the button
Hips: 37"
Length: 27"

Condition:
Good Vintage Condition. There are some stains around the edge of the collar, hard to notice when worn. Please see last photo. The suit presents beautifully, it has been steam cleaned.
