2024 The Himes Log House, among the oldest structures in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, is located in Heritage Park, Euless, Texas. Built in the 1850s, it is also the oldest surviving structure in the City of Euless. It was originally located on historic land in the center of Euless at 403 Himes Drive. Named for Andrew Jackson “Andy” Himes who purchased it in 1888 and lived in it until his death in 1926, the house honors the memory of him and his descendants who owned it until 2000 when it was donated to the City.

What is included:
1. 5x7 matted to 8x10 frame size watercolor painting painted on 140 pound Arches paper and Winsor and Newton watercolors.
2. Back of the painting is stamped with Certificate of Authenticity as Original by artist.
3. Painting is matted on 8x10 acid free mat and backing board which has been hinged with hinging tape which is acid free.
4. Picture is attached to backing board by acid free framers tape with a t hinge.
5. Artwork, mat and frame included. Frame is black aluminum with glass.

Watercolor should be framed with a mat and a 8x10 frame with glass. The reason being if moisture gets to the watercolor or touches the glass the paints can run and ruin the artwork.
