Her style is immortalized by the hat she wore in the movie, "Christmas Vacation."
The recreation is a pillbox style hat with a 2" to 3" crown gathered on the right side where it is accented with a red satin ribbon bow, whose long ends are weighted to add movement.
The pillbox is interfaced so as to maintain its shape and lined 2024 with satin polyester and finished with a silk tie sweatband.
Sewn from black wool studded with 3/8" fresh-water pearls and embellished with a bouquet of 3D embroidered flowers--reds and creamy whites are arranged strategically in the front for best effect. No two hats are exactly alike but are mapped to evoke the pattern of the original. The hat shown on the model is a little over the top, so if you want yours to be toned down a little, just ask.
The pillbox is soft and slanted and frames the face nicely.

Measure around the head just above the ears and across the forehead to within 1/8" or 0.1 cm with a measuring tape or ribbon that does not stretch (don't use a string) and include the actual measurement with the order.
