Leather covered bulldog by Tannereye of Prince Edward Island, 2024 1980s - so realistic

I just love this bulldog by Tannereye, a Prince Edward Island, Canada, company that was the first in the world to make leather wrapped sunglass frames. They then began making leather wrapped figurines until the company closed in the 1990s. Before I got him, this one did duty as a doorstop for some years, and has a few small dings to show for it, but nothing major. It is a a really super figurine, so realistic. I am not sure what the base is - probably wood Each figurine had a stamp on the base, and is signed by the person who made it. The signature on the bulldog is a little hard to read - Carol ?Clinton. And doesn't he look just like Winston Churchill? I have 2024 not found another Tannereye bulldog on line.

Measurements:He is 9" from nose to tail, 7½" high and 5½" wide

Marks and Labels: Stamp on base - Tannereye, Leather covered by...signature ...made in Prince Edward Island, Canada and the number 25224.

Condition: Very good vintage. Small scuff on right ear top and edge, and left elbow - very easily fixed with some leather food/restorer.
