2024 Organic Fukamushi Sencha ”Fukamushi” means “deep steam” has a longer steam process than regular Sencha. Fukamushi Sencha is steamed 60-80 seconds, regular Sencha is 30-40 seconds. The longer steaming process breaks down the leaves and makes it easier to extract the valuable nutrients when steeping. Compared to regular Sencha, the Fukamushi Sencha has less bitterness and the allows the saturation of the beautiful, deep green color for an enjoyrable experience.


Flat Clay Tea Pot - Hiragata Kyusu: This low profile, flat and wide format "Hiragata" Kyusu is an ancient design from the 12th century Heian Period. The flat and wide shape allows the tea leaves to spread equally which allows for optimal umami extraction.
