The one of a kind glass was first carefully selected for brilliancy with quality. Templates were made and each individual glass piece was hand cut.
All of the glass edges were refined to an exact shape using a power grinder & washed many times. The clean pieces were wrapped in copper foil so the edges and hoop could be soldered. The eye and beak are soldered copper too!
The finished bird was cleaned to a glimmering shine with wax in the final step.
There is sturdy jewelry chain with a key ring on top for securing your cute hummingbird. Fasten to any window, a ceiling, wall or decor item. Best placed indoors near bright light.
