Wild rose overlay wheat sheath vase by Fenton. Fenton 2024 made these vases from 1970 to 1985. This vase was made prior to 1973 as it has no Fenton stamp on the bottom. These vases have risen in popularity and were made in a variety of colors. The overlay pieces command a higher price than the single layer vases. A lovely addition to any Fenton collection. Measures 7 1/2" T x 4 3/4' Dia at widest, 3 1/2" base. Weight 15 oz. Excellent Vintage Condition. No Chips, Cracks or Flea Bites. There are 4 small dots of rust in the inside bottom. I soaked with denture tab for a couple hours but did not come out. Maybe a 24hr soak may do the trick. A beautiful piece of collectible Fenton Art Glass.
