2024 Original watercolour from an ancient Scottish viewpoint, the Caterthuns. An atmospheric sky with distant Strathmore hills give an idea of what our Iron Age ancestors would have seen from this hill fort, perhaps used for military and ceremonial purposes.
This painting was built up with watercolour to create the dramatic sky. This painting would suit a contemporary or more traditional home, and any room of the home, or office space.
The beautiful Scottish landscape is an inspiration to me and my art, and this landscape allows for a peaceful escape, with relaxing sky blues, dramatic purples. You have the hills to yourself!
